Project Brief
Ecochill had been working on a new mobile responsive website to replace the Umbraco platform they have been requiring to upgrade, and they needed help to improve the design and the general user experience of their new build to get it ready for launch.

KEY FEATURES AND CHALLENGES
UX Design
Ecochill’s new design iteration needed to be mobile responsive, user friendly and provide the client with an easy to use interface to create and edit their own content.
Using a ready-made WordPress theme as a starter, we customised the design to the customer’s requirements, making sure that it would have a unique and authentic look.
Custom templates
Handling a heavy content site can be difficult for clients, and hence it’s important to make their job of creating new content easy. We built custom ready to use templates of pages and sections that we know the client will need in future to create new areas for their site, hence saving them the trouble of trying to style new pages themselves.
Video tutorials
It’s important to us that all our clients know how to manage their WordPress sites, including creating new posts, portfolios and pages, as well as take care of basic areas, such as menus and sliders. We achieve this by not only meeting with our clients to show them in person the steps involved in doing these tasks, but also by creating customised video tutorials of their site, so they can go back to those videos whenever they need to create or edit content.
